What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
Why "Time With Jesus"
What some folks call "devotions" MrKent calls his "Time with Jesus." To MrKent, the word "devotion" has much more meaning than he chooses to use when speaking of the time he spends each morning reading and praying.
This is something he learned from his faithful dog. His dog is "devoted" to him in a much more meaningful way than he is to Jesus. That dog follows MrKent everywhere he goes. If he gets out of his chair and moves across the room, his dog follows. When he goes outside to do chores and leaves the dog in the house that dog lays by the door and cries and moans until he returns.
MrKent spends a little time each day with Jesus but then goes about the affairs of his life throughout the remainder of the day – as most of us do. That is not the same pattern that his devoted dog follows. So when you hear him speaking of his "Time with Jesus" please understand that he is referring to what most folks call their "devotions."
